Description

Dive into the transformative practice of Ashtanga yoga with our Led Primary Series class. This traditional practice guides you through the Primary Series, synchronizing breath with movement in a dynamic and meditative flow. You'll engage in Ujjayi breath to create internal heat and maintain focus, activate the body's energy locks (Bandhas) to support stability and control, and practice focused gaze points (Drishti) to enhance concentration and deepen your practice. Flow through a structured sequence of sun salutations, standing and seated postures, forward bends, twists, backbends, and finishing postures, building strength, flexibility, and endurance while promoting mental clarity and inner calm. Ideal for practitioners with some prior yoga experience who are looking to deepen their practice. Join us to embrace the discipline, energy, and transformative power of Ashtanga yoga. *** NOTE: This class is best suited for practitioners with some prior yoga asana experience. Please do not eat at least 2 hours prior to the class and hydrate before as we aim not to drink water during the class.
